Data Center Construction (Early-Stage) Job Overview Vanguard Industrial Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Foreman to lead crews on a large-scale data center construction project in Monroe, Louisiana. This is an early-stage build with an estimated duration of 1-2 years, offering long-term stability, consistent overtime, and leadership responsibility on a high-impact project. The ideal candidate will bring strong foreman-level experience, the ability to lead and develop crews, and a deep understanding of industrial electrical systems. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive productivity, enforce safety standards, and ensure high-quality execution across all phases of the project. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a crew of 5-10 industrial electricians on-site. Provide clear direction, expectations, and daily work plans to field teams. Read and interpret construction documents including drawings, cable schedules, and specifications. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA standards and project safety requirements. Oversee quality control and ensure all installations meet project and code standards. Plan work activities to maximize efficiency and productivity. Anticipate potential job site challenges and proactively implement solutions. Monitor crew performance, enforce accountability, and maintain high work standards. Lead by example in safety, work ethic, punctuality, and professionalism. Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth execution. Represent the company professionally with customers and other contractors. Qualifications Prior experience as a Foreman leading industrial electrical crews required. Journeyman-level industrial electrical knowledge and field experience required (license not required). OSHA 30 Certification required (completed within the last 5 years). Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred. Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction documents, and job site coordination. Proven ability to lead teams, manage workflow, and maintain productivity. Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial construction environment. Reliable transportation to the project site.
