Depending on experience and skill level (A/B/C), the mechanic will perform tasks ranging from basic preventive maintenance to complex diagnostics and equipment rebuilds. This role is critical to minimizing downtime and ensuring production targets are met. Primary Responsibilities Perform routine and preventive maintenance on plant equipment Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Weld, fabricate, or modify components as needed (MIG, Stick, and TIG; Stainless experience a plus) Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly and safely Assist in equipment installations or upgrades Accurately document all work using the Computerized Maintenance Management System Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime
