Industrial Maintenance Technician - Nights

Our Biewer Wisconsin Sawmill is looking to add a

• Full-Time Maintenance Technician
• to our team in Prentice, WI.
• Primary responsibilities will include:
• Answering break down calls in all departments when needed.
• Use oils, lubricants, and other chemicals.
• Perform maintenance on rolling stock.
• Hot works and fabrication.
• Troubleshoots and repairs electrical components (breakers, disconnects, motors, etc.)
• Performs Lockout procedures as needed.
• Responsibly follows all safety procedures and policies, works together with co-workers to ensure a safe working environment and reports all accidents or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Assist in performing other tasks as assigned.

• Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 Years of experience preferred in Industrial maintenance/electrical
• General Mechanical knowledge such as industrial maintenance, electrical experience, and hand and power tool usage
• Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, torching, arc welding, and electrical principles.
• Ability to safely operate forklift, scissor lift, and manual lift.
• Reasoning ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
