Industrial Maintenance Technician

Ferti Technologies is a growing company that is a blender of specialty fertilizers for landscape professionals, golf courses and the retail market. We are looking for a highly motivated individual that is goal oriented with an emphasis on quality, productivity, and safety to join our Ponder, TX team. This is a key position with a chance to build a strong career with a solid company. Responsibilities Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime. Servicing and maintain equipment including motors, conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, and production-related equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and perform necessary repairs. Communicating with the production team and coordinating repairs around production schedule. Participate in daily meeting to discuss and plan scheduled projects. Supervise subcontractors during installations, repairs, or maintenance on equipment and/or the facility. Inspect and maintain building HVAC systems. Monitor inventory of materials, equipment, and parts. Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations. Skills Experience as an industrial maintenance technician, or similar role. Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge. Welding experience (MIG & stick) certification a plus. Knowledge and experience maintaining conveyor belts & bucket elevators. Knowledge of OSHA General Industry regulations. Attention to detail. Good computer skills. Knowledge of controllers a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

High school diploma:

Degree from a vocational school will be a plus. 1st shift (7:00 am to 3:30 pm) - Hourly full-time position, must be flexible and available to work weekends when needed, overtime mandatory during the busy season
