• Maintain all machinery & equipment used for manufacturing.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic equipment.
• Diagnose and repair industrial electrical controls used to run machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance and keep maintenance logs on plant equipment.
• Install new plant equipment.
• Responsible for monitoring equipment inventory and placing orders when necessary.
• Communicate with management regarding equipment breakdowns and repairs.
• Update maintenance software along with communicating via email. Requirements
• Must have previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technician (Preferably 5+ years)
• Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and schematics.
• Must have excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Must have knowledge of industrial electrical controls, PLCs, relays, contactors, sensors, and motors.
• Must be able to read electrical schematics, and trouble shoot electrical problems.
• Must be familiar with power tools.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift and work with heavy machinery.
• Ability to weld and fabricate is a plus. Benefits
