Plant Maintenance Job Description Exciting opportunity with SWARCO, an established +50-year-old Global Manufacturing Company located in Mexia, TX About the Role SWARCO is opening a new manufacturing facility in Mexia, TX , and we are hiring Maintenance Technicians to support our production operations. This is a hands‑on, industrial maintenance role focused on keeping equipment running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. If you have strong mechanical maintenance experience and some electrical exposure , this is a great opportunity to join a growing company that provides training, stability, and long‑term career potential. What You'll Do Perform preventive maintenance (PM) , inspections, and repairs on plant machinery Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems Maintain industrial equipment such as: Bucket elevators Vibratory feeders Mixers and screw feeders Glass‑melting equipment Rotary separators Packaging and finished‑goods machinery Reduce equipment downtime through effective troubleshooting Complete maintenance logs, work orders, and repair documentation Follow all safety, cleanliness, and quality standards Participate in on‑the‑job training provided by
SWARCO What We're Looking For Required:
Experience in industrial maintenance , mechanical maintenance, or manufacturing maintenance Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills Ability to pass a background check and pre‑employment drug screen Preferred (Not Required): Electrical experience with 110V, 220V, and 660V systems Welding and fabrication experience Experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and equipment manuals What We Offer Full‑time, stable employment All tools provided by the company Paid on‑the‑job training for equipment and systems Clean, safety‑focused manufacturing environment Opportunity to grow with a new and expanding facility Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. or aligned with immediate supervisor and plant shifts. Must be available for on call emergency call outs. Travel No travel is expected for this position. Required Education and Experience High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience. 2+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills.Employee Benefits:
