Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job description: Looking for a change or to start your career? Shell Lake Woodcrafters is accepting applications for an immediate opening for an Industrial Maintenance Technician. This position will require you to perform preventative maintenance, general repairs, and installation/relocation of company machinery. Maintaining the equipment and facilities to minimize production downtime is the daily priority. All candidates with Industrial Plant Maintenance practical knowledge along with education or experience will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with strong electrical and electronics experience/troubleshooting. Applicable skills include but are not limited to: Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Plumbing, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Lubrication, etc. Welding and Fabrication Ability to work from ladders and lifts Fork trucks and skid steer operation Practical reading of blueprints and machine schematics PLC, VFD, and similar electronic controls Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis Must have an excellent attendance record at previous employers Willing to work a flexible schedule as needed to support the production environment Our company is looking for an individual that is dependable and has a good job history and a positive attitude.
