Could you be the full-time Painter in Kanona we're looking for?
PainterPay Range:
$18.25 - $24.00/hourYour future role: Take on a new challenge and apply your painting expertise in a cutting-edge rail environment. You'll work alongside a skilled, collaborative and safety-focused team, ensuring our vehicles meet the highest quality standards. Day-to-day, you'll: Prepare and treat various substrates on rail vehicles for painting. Apply coatings to all areas of rail vehicles to meet company and customer requirements. Perform repairs on applied coatings (paint, fiberglass gel coat). Train and guide less experienced painters to achieve quality standards. Maintain accurate paint process records, including batch numbers, expiration dates, and spraying conditions. Read blueprints and operate tools and equipment for decals and stenciling. Work safely and comply with Alstom Zero Deviation Procedures and EHS guidelines. We'll look to you for: High-quality paint application and finishing. Consistent adherence to safety and environmental standards. Collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the team.All about you:

Instead, here are some that will help you succeed: Completion of a vocational course in Auto Body Repair or 2 years' experience in an Auto Body Shop or Industrial Paint Shop. Ability to pass respiratory testing and wear required PPE. Familiarity with paint application techniques and repair processes. Knowledge of adhesion and gloss level requirements. Certification criteria: ability to paint test plate and meet orange peel and gloss standards.
