In this role, you will create a warm, engaging environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and emotional security for infants. Your expertise in childhood development and classroom management will ensure each child receives personalized attention and support during their critical early years. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that support early literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth tailored to infants' developmental stages Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery Engage with children through interactive activities that promote language development, motor skills, and emotional regulation Monitor and document each child's progress, adjusting teaching strategies to meet individual needs Collaborate with families to share insights on their child's development and provide guidance on early childhood education practices Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and behavior management to ensure a consistent daily schedule Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with childcare regulations and best practices for infant welfare Requirements Prior experience working with infants in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques including Montessori or other educational philosophies Ability to maintain a nurturing environment while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently Certification in CPR/First Aid is required or obtainable upon hire Experience with special education needs or working within inclusive classrooms is a plus CDA Preferred Join us as an Infant Teacher to inspire curiosity, foster growth, and support the earliest stages of childhood development.
