Infant Teacher Assistant

Our Christian Childcare Center is looking to hire a loving, enthusiastic, creative and fun individual to work in our Infant room.

Responsibilities include:

• Working cooperatively with the lead teacher with feeding, diaper changes, engaging with infants.
• Following CT ELDS Milestones for each child.
• Assist in preparation of appropriate lesson plans and activities for each child.
• Recording activities into childcare software
• Being a team participant in center's needs Requirements include:
• A strong ability to work cooperatively with co-workers as well as openly communicate
• Ability to work in a fast-paced classroom
• Experience working in a childcare center
• Ability to stand, sit on the floor, and carry infants
• Education in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Background in Christian curriculum, a plus
• Availability between the hours of 8:00am
• 5:30pm.

Flexible weekly hours between 34-40 hours. This is a year round position that offers paid time off and vacation time, holiday pay, payment for inclement weather days and a health insurance option after a probationary waiting period.
