Job Description

At Milford Early Learning Center , we don't just care for children—we shape the foundation of their lives. We are seeking a passionate, nurturing, and skilled Infant/Toddler Teacher who understands that the first three years are critical to brain development, emotional security, and lifelong learning.

What You'll Do As an Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will: Create a Safe, Loving, and Responsive Environment Build strong, nurturing relationships with each child Support emotional development, attachment, and trust Ensure children's physical and developmental needs are consistently met Support Early Learning & Development Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences Individualize care and learning based on each child's needs and milestones Observe, document, and support each child's growth Lead Through Presence & Modeling Serve as a positive role model for children and team members Collaborate with assistant teachers and support staff to maintain a high-quality classroom Maintain an organized, engaging, and stimulating learning environment Partner with Families Build trusting relationships with families Communicate regularly about children's progress and daily experiences Participate in family engagement activities and, when applicable, home visits Maintain Program Excellence Follow all licensing, State Funded and Head Start Performance Standards Support classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety Participate in ongoing professional development and growth⸻ What We're Looking For ✔ Genuine love and respect for infants and toddlers ✔ Strong understanding of child development (birth-3 years) ✔ Ability to create calm, structured, and nurturing environments ✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills ✔ Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth ⸻ Qualifications CDA, AA, or higher in Early Childhood Education (required) Delaware First Early Childhood Teaching Certificate (preferred or willingness to obtain) Experience working with infants and/or toddlers Familiarity with Head Start or similar high-quality early learning programs (a plus)

$16.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
