Position Details Will be employed by Central Maine Medical Group, affiliated with Central Maine Medical Center. Hospital-based role with a mix of inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic responsibilities. Infectious Disease (BC or BE). Flexible scheduling with call coverage as required. Evaluate and manage patients with a broad spectrum of infectious diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Provide expertise in antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention protocols. Collaborate with hospitalists, surgeons, primary care providers, and specialty teams to ensure coordinated patient care. Participate in infection control committees, policy development, and quality improvement initiatives. Eligible for or active Maine medical license required.
