More about our team Our Information Technology and Systems team plays a vital role in supporting patient care and hospital operations by ensuring technology systems, infrastructure, and digital services run efficiently and securely. In this fast-paced environment, team members collaborate across departments to support daily operations, lead technology initiatives, and drive continuous improvement. Success in this role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and a commitment to delivering reliable, innovative technology solutions that positively impact both staff and patient experiences. How you'll contribute An Information Technology and Systems Director who excels in this role will: Bring demonstrated hospital-based IT leadership experience, with a strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical systems, and regulatory requirements. Successfully operate within a matrixed organizational structure, collaborating effectively with multiple leaders and stakeholders while balancing competing priorities and reporting relationships. Lead and oversee daily Information Technology and Systems operations across the healthcare system to support organizational goals, performance standards, and reliable service delivery. Develop and implement departmental strategies, policies, and technology initiatives aligned with healthcare, operational, regulatory, and organizational objectives. Manage IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, and support services to ensure operational efficiency, system reliability, cybersecurity, and continuous improvement. Lead strategic technology planning, system implementations, digital transformation initiatives, and business continuity efforts that support clinical and operational excellence. Direct staffing activities including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance management, training, and professional development for IT team members. Prepare, monitor, and manage departmental budgets, vendor relationships, technology contracts, and resource allocation to support organizational priorities. Foster a collaborative, service-focused, and growth-oriented environment while partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions that enhance patient care, operational effectiveness, and the employee experience.

What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field preferred. Applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of education. Proven leadership experience managing Information Technology and Systems operations within a complex healthcare or multi-site environment. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and technology operations supporting clinical and business functions. Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives, system implementations, and process improvement efforts across departments. Experience managing teams, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and staff development. Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with the ability to partner effectively with organizational leadership and cross-functional teams. Experience managing departmental budgets, vendor relationships, and technology resources effectively and responsibly.
