Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The Infrastructure Delivery Manager (Specialist) is responsible for managing the initiative, engaging and working with key business partners, and driving to successful outcomes within a given timeline. This position will have a primary focus on planning, execution, and delivery of IT Strategy initiatives. Key Responsibilities
  • Identify customer needs, Manage Major End to End Initiatives, and ability to manage Large teams.
  • Managing Finances and Budgets; determine ways to reduce costs and improve service availability.
  • Defines project scope, deliverables, roles, and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders and business partners.
  • Establishes, plans, and executes major milestone reviews and decision gates to complete the program and project life cycle.
  • Ensures all required products are produced and reviewed, including technical leadership of requirements management, design, implementation, system integration, verification, test, quality assurance, delivery, operations, and sustainment of the technical solution.
  • Identifies and manages to the critical path and milestones of a schedule.
  • Identifies risks affecting program and project deliverables with follow-through on mitigation, resolution, and path to green.
  • Communicates proactively with all stakeholders in identifying problems, proposing solutions, and implementing efficient processes.
  • Closely monitors project progress and ensures timely completion.
  • Adheres to project management processes and procedures.
  • Prepares and reports project status on a regular basis, including metrics needed for various risk groups.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and managing Project teams. Required Qualifications
  • 10 - 14 years of overall experience in IT services, infrastructure/data center strongly preferred.
  • 6+ years Delivery / Project & Program Management experience desired.
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies or equivalents.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a Project or Initiative.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
  • Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills and the ability to build and foster internal relationships. Certifications
  • Professional Project Management Certification and Technical Certifications or equivalents.
