Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)

One our well-established healthcare organizations is seeking a Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. The Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) will provide medical comfort and care for patients by checking vital statistics, initiating infusions, discussing healthcare concerns with patients, work in a multidisciplinary team. Duties and Responsibilities of the Infusion Registered Nurse (RN):

• Examining and recording the changes in the clinical conditions of the patients.
• Taking specimens like blood, urine, sputum, etc.
• Administering the oral and intravenous medications.
• Changing wound dressings.
• Accessing central lines.
• Start IVs, hang IV fluids, and administer infusion therapy.
• Perform patient education.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of TX with no restrictions
• MUST have 6+ months of infusion experience (any type of infusion including iron, biologics, chemotherapy, etc.) and sharp IV skills
• 1+ years of RN experience from a clinic or hospital setting
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Compassion for the patients and their families
• Quick decision-making
• Problem-solving skills, etc.
