Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Injection Molding Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is vital in ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of injection molding equipment within a dynamic manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will utilize their technical expertise to maintain machinery, improve processes, and support production goals. Duties Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on injection molding machines and associated equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify faults accurately. Maintain and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high voltage components integral to machine operation. Conduct welding (including <
LOCATION
> welding) and mechanical repairs using appropriate tools and techniques to restore equipment functionality. Support field service activities by responding promptly to machine failures or operational issues on-site. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and asset history. Assist with installation, upgrades, and modifications of machinery in compliance with safety standards. Operate industrial equipment such as scissor lifts safely for access during maintenance tasks. Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine performance while ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. Support technical sales efforts by providing expert insights into machinery capabilities and maintenance requirements when needed. Qualifications Proven experience in industrial mechanic work within a manufacturing facility environment. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience, including industrial electrician skills. Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC/R systems, and high/low voltage electrical systems. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics interpretation. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance management and documentation. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and mechanical drawings effectively. Excellent analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues efficiently. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly in English across diverse teams. Experience working in a military or field service environment is advantageous but not mandatory. Valid certifications or training in welding ( welding), HVAC/R systems, or industrial maintenance are preferred.
