Job Description

Doman Lumber is seeking a motivated entry level Inside Sales Representative to support our growing customer base in the lumber and building materials industry. This role combines sales development, customer relationship management, and order coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both closing business and managing the operational details that ensure excellent customer service We welcome candidates who are new to the industry and eager to start a career in sales and building materials. This role is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. We provide training and support to help the right candidate develop the skills needed to succeed and grow within the company. Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Development Prospect and develop new customers, including lumber yards and professional contractor accounts Prepare quotes and sell lumber and related building materials Follow up consistently with customers to close new business opportunities Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through excellent service and communication Order Entry & Operations Enter quotes and orders accurately into the company ERP system Create, manage, and track customer orders from entry through delivery Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams to schedule and confirm deliveries Verify pricing, quantities, and invoices to ensure accuracy Resolve order issues quickly and professionally to maintain customer satisfaction Requirements Strong work ethic with a competitive, results-driven mindset High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to manage both sales activities and administrative responsibilities Excellent communication and organizational skills Basic computer proficiency, including Excel, email, and data entry system What We Offer Competitive pay Health insurance and benefits 401(k) and Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) Training and professional development opportunities Clear advancement paths into Account Manager or Territory Sales roles Exposure to pricing strategy, sales operations, and supply chain processes Inside Sales Caddo Mills, TX 75135 Doman Lumber is seeking a motivated entry level Inside Sales Representative to support our growing customer base in the lumber and building materials industry.
