Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Installation and Repair Manager to lead our field service operations, ensuring the seamless installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication and network infrastructure. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee complex projects involving heavy equipment operation, fiber splicing, cabling, and electrical systems. As a pivotal team leader, you will coordinate technical teams, manage safety protocols, and deliver exceptional service quality that exceeds client expectations. Your expertise will drive operational excellence and foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation. Duties Lead and supervise installation and repair projects for telecommunication systems, fiber optic networks, LAN/WAN infrastructure, and electrical components. Coordinate field service teams in the safe operation of heavy equipment such as bucket trucks, power tools, hand tools, and construction machinery. Oversee the use of schematics, technical diagrams, and network infrastructure blueprints to ensure precise implementation of cabling, fiber splicing, and electrical wiring. Conduct site assessments to determine project scope, prepare work plans, and ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations. Manage the installation of low voltage systems including telephony, Ethernet (LAN), and other computer networking components. Troubleshoot complex issues related to network infrastructure, telephony systems, electrical wiring, or IT infrastructure during installation or repair phases. Ensure all work adheres to project timelines while maintaining high standards for quality control and safety protocols. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics updates, inspection reports, and incident logs. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to communicate project progress and resolve technical challenges promptly. Skills Proven experience in field service operations related to telecommunication or network infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as bucket trucks used for elevated cabling or fiber splicing tasks. Proficiency with fiber splicing techniques and cabling methods for both low voltage (telephony) and high-speed data networks (Ethernet/LAN). Familiarity with schematics interpretation for electrical wiring, network diagrams, and construction plans. Ability to climb ladders or structures safely while adhering to climbing safety standards. Experience with IT infrastructure components including switches, routers, LAN/WAN configurations, Ethernet cabling, and telephony systems. Skilled in using power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment necessary for installation tasks. Knowledge of electrical systems relevant to low voltage wiring and power distribution for telecommunication setups. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and vendors effectively. Pay:
$98,570.00 - $123,000.00 per year
