WORK WEEK/YEAR

: As per board-adopted calendar, employment on an as needed basis. Instruction occurs during evening hours. Occasional limited weekend or special event/program hours may be scheduled.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

: Current state-issued Cosmetology Instructor License required prior to employment Minimum five (5) years of recent industry experience in cosmetology or salon operations BCI and FBI criminal records results less than one-year old must be submitted prior to initial employment and as required thereafter.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

: Ability to work independently while effectively managing classroom and salon clinic environments Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with adult learners possessing a wide range of educational, professional, and life experiences Availability for evening instruction, with flexibility to support occasional special programming or events as needed Experience with a wide range of hair textures, styling techniques, and client service needs is valued Passion for continued learning, professional growth, and contributing positively to program development, community relationships, and a collaborative team environment Job Description
