Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work Location Norman or Tulsa, Oklahoma Open Date May 18, 2026 Description Instructor/Lecturer Position, Anne & Henry Zarrow School of Social Work. Online MSW Program , 5-year Renewable Term Position. Instructor, 4:4:2 or equivalent teaching load. The Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work at the University of Oklahoma seeks an innovative social work instructor to join our dynamic fac ulty team beginning August 2026 or January 2027 . This position is within our growing Online MSW Program and will involve teaching students in a virtual environment. We are especially interested in candidates who build collaborative ties with other departments within the S chool and U niversity and the community through their teaching and service . The S chool is looking to find social work educators who will be responsible for teaching online MSW students, possibly providing supervision to students in field practicum, advising students and participating in service activities within the S chool . The S chool seeks applicants with expertise in one or more of the following areas: micro practice, community practice, policy practice, health, clinical social work practice, mental health, substance abuse, or other clinical experience. We also welcome candidates with social work training experience, including the following: simulation, supervising social workers and social work students, and continuing education. The Online MSW Program launched in 2019 and has rapidly grown to reach students across the nation and internationally. The program has successfully maintained a high standard of MSW education while bringing social work to rural areas, working students, military bases, and other environments that make online education an option for career progression and social work skill development. H ome to the largest MSW program in Oklahoma, the School offers fully accredited Master and Bachelor Social Work Programs to 9 00 students annually, and is dedicated to the enhancement of human well-being, alleviation of poverty and oppression through high quality education and research . With two physical campuses (Norman and Tulsa), and an Online MSW Program, the School delivers the largest undergraduate and graduate programs of social work in the state and has the responsibility for educating a diverse array of graduate students for a variety of professional Social Work practice fields. Qualifications Position requirements : MSW degree requ ired and minimum of 2 years of post-MSW practice experience required .Preferred:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) . Previous experience teaching, serving as a field instructor, and/or faculty field liaison is preferred .Application Instructions How to apply:
