Insulator Helper

Description:

Job Summary:

Support Insulators in installing and maintaining insulation on various structures and equipment. Assist with material preparation, workspace setup, and ensuring projects proceed safely and efficiently.

Material Preparation:

Gather and prepare insulation materials. Cut and shape materials as needed.

Workspace Preparation:

Set up equipment and prepare surfaces for insulation. Help set up scaffolding, ladders, and other necessary equipment to access work areas.

Installation Assistance:

Hold insulation materials in place while Insulators secure them with staples, tape, or other fasteners. Assist Insulators in applying insulation materials to pipes, ductwork, boilers, tanks, and other structures.

Safety Compliance:

Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE. Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Cleanup and Maintenance:

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues to supervisors. Work collaboratively with other Insulator Helpers and Insulators to complete projects on schedule.

Requirements:

Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials. Attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work in extreme weather conditions. Basic Construction knowledge preferred
