Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Insurance & Risk Management Coordinator to support our insurance administration, claims management, and risk management functions across the organization. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, capable of handling multiple priorities, and comfortable coordinating with internal stakeholders, insurance brokers, carriers, and external partners. ? About the Role This role is responsible for coordinating claims management activities, maintaining insurance documentation, supporting loss prevention initiatives, and assisting in compliance and reporting efforts. The position will work closely with internal departments, insurance brokers, legal counsel, and external vendors to help ensure efficient claims handling, policy administration, and risk mitigation support across the organization. ? Responsibilities
  • Track, document, and process insurance claims (property, general liability, auto, and other applicable lines)
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers, brokers, adjusters, attorneys, and internal departments regarding claim status and required documentation
  • Maintain claim logs and ensure timely reporting, documentation, and follow-up
  • Assist in gathering supporting materials and documentation for claim resolution
  • Maintain and organize digital and physical insurance and risk management files
  • Coordinate issuance and tracking of Certificates of Insurance (COIs) with insurance brokers
  • Assist with insurance policy renewals, applications, and related documentation
  • Monitor policy compliance requirements and maintain schedules of coverage
  • Analyze claims and loss data to identify trends and potential risk exposures
  • Support implementation of loss prevention and safety initiatives
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable insurance, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and summaries for management review
  • Serve as a point of contact for insurance brokers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and minutes related to risk management activities
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools using Excel and other systems
  • Support the General Counsel with special projects related to risk management and compliance ? Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Business Administration, Risk Management, Insurance, or related field)
  • Entry-level to 2+ years of experience in insurance, risk management, administration, legal support, or related fields
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented mindset ?
