Interim Director of Nursing

Ensure adherence to Medicare guidelines, state licensing requirements, and healthcare policies related to nursing home operations. Supervise nurse management activities such as MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments and documentation review to support accurate billing and quality reporting. Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing clinical data related to physiology knowledge, anatomy knowledge, and care outcomes. Foster a culture of leadership within the nursing team through supervising experience and management best practices. Maintain compliance with shift management protocols while ensuring smooth communication between staff members during transitions. Requirements Proven experience in nursing home settings or assisted living environments. Demonstrated supervising experience in healthcare facilities managing multidisciplinary teams. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and healthcare documentation standards. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems used in long-term care or home health settings. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, Medicare policies, and regulatory compliance requirements for healthcare facilities. Ability to manage complex documentation review processes including medical records and care plans effectively.
