$50.00 – $65.00 hourly Manufacturing Industry About the Opportunity – Interim Plant Controller This is a high-impact interim leadership opportunity within a manufacturing environment undergoing post-acquisition integration. The Interim Plant Controller will step into a visible, hands-on role, partnering closely with operations and finance leadership during a critical transition period. The assignment is fully onsite and designed for a collaborative, team-oriented professional who thrives in change-driven environments. Key Responsibilities – Interim Plant Controller Serve as the lead plant accounting professional, overseeing 2–3 direct reports Own and lead month-end close, reconciliations, and plant-level financial statement accuracy Support post-acquisition integration activities, including systems and inventory process migration Oversee plant budgeting, audits, inventory controls, and cost accounting activities Partner closely with operations and sales to support plant performance and decision-making Provide audit support and ensure strong internal controls across plant functions Lead and mentor the plant accounting team during the transition period Adapt responsibilities such as treasury, AP, and payables until transition to corporate takes place Qualifications – Interim Plant Controller Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required Commercial manufacturing experience required; food manufacturing experience a plus Strong background in inventory, cost accounting, and plant financial controls CPA preferred but not required Proven experience navigating post-acquisition environments and systems migrations Comfortable working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and leaders Highly interactive, team-focused leader who is visible on the plant floor Thick-skinned, adaptable, and solutions-oriented with a positive, collaborative approach Bilingual English/Spanish helpful but not required #
