Promotes the success of all staff and students by facilitating the development, articulation and implementation of a vision of teaching and learning that supports the District's mission and vision. Supervises, evaluates and directs the work of classified, licensed and confidential employees assigned to the secondary school. Full job description available upon request.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Masters' Degree representing coursework in educational administration, curriculum development and staff development. Hold or be eligible for Oregon Administrative License. At least five years successful teaching experience. Experience working with students and families from diverse populations. Knowledge of current research in staff development, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Trauma Informed Practices, instructional technology, classroom assessment, instructional best practices, and teaching strategies.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Spanish language skills.SUMMARY OF PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Administers the school and its instructional program in all its facets. Implements Board policies and administrative regulations. Supervises the school staff, providing assistance, as necessary. Assists in the recruiting, screening, training, hiring and assigning of school staff. Effectively manages conflict within the school building. Attends IEP and 504 meetings and assists in their coordination when necessary. Coordinates Title programs as assigned and ensures compliance. Attends and represents the District at civic and executive Board meetings and participates on various school committees to address student and school needs.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
230-day contract with salary ($126,327 - $142,219). Interim for the 2026-2027 school year. Excellent benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and Oregon state retirement. Paid time off includes 15 sick days and three personal days, pro-rated per school year. Benefit information can be found at https://www.seasidek12.org/benefits.
