Job description About the Company Lorna Gross Interior Design is an award-winning firm with a primary focus on high-end residential and hospitality projects. The company has been featured in national and international publications and is recognized for its unique and personalized approach to design. Lorna Gross Interior Design , is seeking an Interior Design Intern. This opportunity is ideal for an aspiring interior designer who thrives in a highly productive team atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with creating floor plans and elevations via drafting software. Assisting with creating visual aids for client presentations, such as 3D models, mood boards & color elevations. Assisting with the preparation of presentations for clientele. Researching product specifications and availability. Visiting project sites with team members. Assisting with performing site measurements. Organizing the resource library. Periodically assisting with marketing efforts. Executing additional reasonable requests as they relate to business goals.
Requirements:
Extreme detail orientation and excellent follow-up. Responsible/reliable with self-motivation and high energy. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Photoshop. In process interior design degree, junior or senior status preferred. Professional demeanor & appearance. Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects effectively. Good written and oral communication skills. Technologically savvy. Must have own transportation.
Benefits:
Hourly pay. Eligible for college credit. Eligible for hours towards NCIDQ application.
