Interior & Exterior Handy Person

Mr. Handyman of Wheaton-Hinsdale is seeking a highly skilled, professional handyperson who can confidently handle residential and commercial repair work while delivering an excellent client experience. What You'll Do Estimate and Complete small- to medium-sized commercial and residential repair projects (work can range from 2 hours to 2 days) Work independently while managing estimates, job scope, quality, and client expectations Communicate professionally with homeowners, business owners, and property managers Represent the Mr. Handyman brand with consistency and pride Required Skills Strong proficiency in at least 4 of the following: Commercial Door Repair & Replacement Commercial Hardware Commercial Metal Framing Independent Estimating for Scope of Project, Materials Proficient using an iPad for workflow Strong proficiency in at least 4 of the following: Carpentry/Custom Carpentry Tile Repair Drywall Repair and Painting Minor plumbing and electrical Exterior/Interior Door Replacement/Repairs What We're Looking For Individuals with 15+ years of professional handyman or trade experience, preferably with commercial clients Individuals with ownership of professional-grade tools (We provide the branded van, service professionals provide their tools) Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to work safely at heights and lift 50+ lbs. independently Valid driver's license and clean driving record (must be insurable) Technology & iPad Use Comfortable using an iPad daily in the field (dispatch right from your home!)
