Immediately Job Description Intervention Specialist (emphasis in Dyslexia) The most suited qualifying applicant should be analytical, empathetic, and able to assist with designing and implementing individualized programs for students.
Intervention Specialist Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in special education Experience working with children with special needs Ability to design effective programs for diverse children Outstanding communication skills Strong people skills and advocates for children Excellent observation and analytical skills Availability to have meetings with parents
Intervention Specialist Responsibilities:
Trained and capable of screenings for dyslexia and will employ suitable classroom management techniques as well as specific techniques for students with Dyslexia Ability to aid teachers having students identified with Dyslexia with materials and strategies to be utilized in their classrooms Assess children's individual needs Collaborate with teachers and other parties to share subject matter with children Ability to communicate consistently between the school psychologists and the special education staff to ensure proper implementation. Keeping records of student performance
