Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract Skilled interventional radiology technologists are needed to support a high-performing healthcare setting. Utilizing your expertise in imaging and IR procedures, you will collaborate closely with radiologists and the care team to deliver accurate and high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic imaging for patients. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic work environment where your specialized skills make a direct impact on patient outcomes. Desired Skills and Experience Demonstrated proficiency as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist Strong foundation in operating and maintaining IR imaging equipment Experience preparing and assisting in a variety of IR procedures Excellent knowledge of radiation safety and procedural protocols Valid ARRT certification and current state licensure in radiologic technology BLS certification required Strong attention to detail and quality control Effective communication and teamwork skills Key Responsibilities Perform a range of interventional radiology procedures as directed by the physician Prepare patients and equipment for IR studies, ensuring comfort and safety Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot sophisticated IR imaging equipment Assist the team with setup, sterile technique, contrast administration, and post-procedure care Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines during procedures Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care This is a contract role providing an opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment where your technical expertise and commitment to quality care are highly valued.
