Job Description

Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract Advance your radiology career supporting a dynamic imaging team in a hospital environment for a 13-week contract. This role specializes in Interventional Radiology, playing a vital role in diagnostic and cardiovascular patient care.
Schedule & Shift Details:
Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday Self-scheduling in collaboration with teammates On-call requirement: typically 5-6 days per month, including weekend coverage (Friday and either Saturday or Sunday) No special schedule requests permitted; no more than 3 days of requested time off Hospital scrubs provided
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate of an AMA-approved, accredited Radiologic Technology program Current Radiologic Technologist Registry (ARRT) American Heart Association BLS certified American Heart Association ACLS (may be obtained within 3 months of hire) RCIS certification preferred, but not required Licensure/certifications must be current; no pending divisions accepted
Key Responsibilities:
Perform prescribed diagnostic radiographic examinations under supervision of credentialed radiologists and interventional specialists Assist physicians with a broad range of diagnostic, routine, and emergency interventional and cardiovascular radiology procedures Operate radiation-producing equipment following departmental policies and safety standards Provide care for adult and geriatric patient populations Manage radiology quality assurance processes, including collection/distribution of dosimetry badges Conduct cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring as needed Support procedural room activities, including patient prep and scrub duties Maintain and track inventory of specialized procedural supplies responsibly If you possess strong technical skills, uphold the highest standards of patient care, and are ready to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced hospital setting, take the next step in your radiologic career.
