Job Description:
The Inventory / Cycle Count Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels by performing regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting overall warehouse inventory control processes. This role ensures data integrity and helps improve operational efficiency. Additionally in this role you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the flow of goods, services, and information across our supply chain. You'll collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and maintain smooth operations. Key Responsibilities / Day in the
Life:
Verify physical inventory against system records and report discrepancies Investigate and resolve inventory variances in a timely manner Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems Oversees Amazon ordering process. Prints orders, coordinates with Amazon Lead. Follows up about stock levels via email. Ensures deadlines are met by fostering strong communication through the Lead. Discusses any manpower issues with Warehouse Manager. Oversees hospitality ordering. Communicates directly with internal Customer Service team. Ensures orders are fulfilled and shipping deadlines are met. Assists with pulling orders as needed or delegates depending on volume. Utilizes spreadsheet for additional shared communication between departments. Responds to time sensitive emails regarding requests for box dimensions. Working with a team member, sorts small parcel (think online shopping) orders using various scanning/accountability methods. Ensures all orders are accounted for & dispatched to the picking floor. Obtain rate quotes / coordinates LTL shipments. Schedules LTL pick ups. Schedule all FedEx International Shipments & provides required documentation. Various other tasks as needed per management requests Hours are 730 - 430 M-F.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
1+ years of experience in logistics coordination, transportation, or supply chain management (preferred).
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Reliability - a team player that can be counted on for ethics as well as leading by example and being on time and not habitually absent. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with logistics software or ERP systems is a plus. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
