Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an Inventory Manager and take charge of optimizing supply chain operations, warehouse distribution, and inventory control processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless procurement, stock management, and logistics coordination across multiple channels. As an energetic leader, you will leverage your expertise in data analytics, process improvement, and supplier management to drive efficiency and accuracy throughout our inventory lifecycle. Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end inventory management, including stock levels, replenishment, and cycle counting to maintain optimal inventory accuracy. Coordinate with procurement teams to source materials, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships for cost-effective purchasing. Utilize ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle to analyze inventory data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions. Lead process improvement initiatives by analyzing supply chain analytics and applying root cause analysis to resolve recurring issues. Manage warehouse distribution activities including shipping & receiving, materials handling, and order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery. Develop demand planning strategies using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Nielsen data to forecast needs accurately. Supervise warehouse operations including forklift handling and heavy lifting tasks while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Skills Extensive knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and warehouse management systems (WMS). Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), and data mining techniques. Proven ability in negotiation, sourcing, and contract management within procurement processes. Expertise in inventory control methods such as MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and demand planning techniques. Experience with ERP systems like SAP, AS400, or similar platforms for materials management and financial analysis. Excellent analysis skills for root cause analysis, process optimization, and supply chain analytics. Ability to operate forklifts safely; familiarity with materials handling equipment is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in retail management environments or e-commerce logistics. Competence in financial modeling related to pricing strategies and inventory valuation.
