Job Description
USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app HighTech Bound is a paid four to six-week summer program at The University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL) designed for students entering their senior year of High School. The program provides an exciting opportunity for ambitious high school students, like you, to experience software development in a real-world environment. Duties/Responsibilities You will work in our computer lab with dedicated mentors who will guide you through an exciting summer, working on a team to create a solution for an assigned project. You will get to work with the latest technologies in software and hardware projects that are used in well-known companies. Have the opportunity to research solutions and contribute to a tech project that will be used for years. Take part in a unique, hands-on experience to complete an assigned project Develop real-world technical skills Work with technology used in smart cars, internet devices, and more Problem solve with new technologies Prepare for an education in the technology field Opportunities for employment after the program Earn .5 high school credit through Virtual Learning Academy Charter School (VLACS) Minimum Qualifications Entering Senior year of high school Available to work 40 hours/week during summer Must pass a pre-employment background check
