Job Description:

Lead, supervise, and guide a team of skilled ironworkers and tradespeople. Organize and schedule tasks to ensure timely and efficient project completion. Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications accurately. Oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment and tools. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and industry standards. Collaborate closely with project managers to report progress and address challenges. Maintain meticulous records of work completed, materials used, and hours worked. Uphold the highest quality standards in all aspects of construction. Foster a positive and productive work environment that promotes teamwork.

Qualifications/Skills:

Proven experience as an Ironworker, with previous supervisory roles. Comprehensive knowledge of various aspects of construction, including pre-engineered metal buildings, structural steel, insulated metal panels, standing seam roofs, insulation, trim, handrails, misc. metals, etc... Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and specifications. Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work at heights, lift heavy objects, and perform physically demanding tasks. Clean criminal record to access military bases and public works sites. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of project management/Foreman experience in the steel construction industry. Construction software experience (examples: Procore, Sage, MS Project, Office Suite). Background in Tekla, Bluebeam, MBS Engineering Software, Advance Steel, SDS2 or RISA a major plus. Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) experience. Structural Steel and Sheet Metal experience. Experience in Federal and Public Works Projects is a plus.
