Job Description

Job Responsibilities & Duties Leadership & Crew Management Enforce all safety policies at the job site Transport crew, tools, and materials to and from job locations Assign tasks and monitor daily workload and performance Maintain timesheets, attendance records, and material usage logs Communicate job progress, system issues, and crew needs to the Project Manager Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors as necessary Operate and maintain company vehicles and irrigation equipment Irrigation Installation & Maintenance Install irrigation systems according to plans and specifications Lay pipe, install valves, heads, drip systems, controllers, and sensors Troubleshoot and repair leaks, wiring issues, pressure problems, and coverage gaps Perform system start-ups, shutdowns, and controller programming Conduct quality checks to ensure proper coverage and functionality Maintain a clean and organized job site Technical & Equipment Operation Operate trenchers, vibratory plows, pipe pullers, and wire locators Perform low-voltage wiring work (controllers, sensors, valves) Understand system flow, pressure, coverage, and design basics Skills & Qualifications Required Proven leadership ability Irrigation installation experience Ability to read irrigation plans, wiring diagrams, and system layouts Strong understanding of valves, heads, controllers, and troubleshooting Basic electrical and mechanical skills Strong communication and organization skills Valid Driver's License Ability to lift 50 lbs., kneel/dig for extended periods, and work long hours outdoors Preferred Experience with trenchers, vibratory plows, and pipe pullers Irrigation manufacturer certifications (Hunter, Rain Bird, etc.) Basic horticulture and plant water needs knowledge Landscape Workshop is urgently hiring for a irrigation foreman to join their landscaping crews in the Nolensville, TN area!
