Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on position that requires knowledge of landscape maintenance, power tools, hand tools, and mechanical systems.

Duties:

• Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems for lawns, gardens, and landscapes
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with irrigation systems
• Perform regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of irrigation equipment
• Adjust sprinkler heads and water flow rates as needed
• Replace or repair damaged components such as valves, pipes, and timers
• Program irrigation controllers to optimize water usage
• Collaborate with landscaping team to ensure proper irrigation coverage
• Dig trenches and install pipes for new irrigation system installations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Irrigation Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of landscape renovation and maintenance practices
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in irrigation work
• Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
• Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues with irrigation systems
