Contract To Hire Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst 3 to serve as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions for enterprise-level applications and systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, along with experience supporting large-scale IT initiatives in Agile or Waterfall environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead requirement gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and business process analysis activities. Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, workflow diagrams, and technical documentation. Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Participate in project planning, system implementation, deployment activities, and data migration efforts. Develop and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies, test cases, and validation processes. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for business applications and provide Tier-2/Tier-3 functional support. Conduct process improvement analysis and recommend automation or optimization opportunities. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. Assist with training documentation, user training sessions, and change management initiatives. Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices in business analysis methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or IT project environments. Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall. Experience with requirement documentation, process mapping, and workflow analysis. Familiarity with SQL queries, data mapping, reporting tools, or dashboards. Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, ClickUp, Figma, or equivalent platforms. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

CBAP, PMI-PBA, or related Business Analysis certification. Experience leading Agile scrum teams or serving as a Proxy Product Owner. Prior experience supporting enterprise-level system implementations or digital transformation projects.
