). This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to applicant testing and random drug testing thereafter. Failure to test or a positive result on random drug tests conducted after appointment may result in removal from Federal employment. This position has been designated as "Q" and requires a security clearance at the Critical Sensitive. The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain this clearance; failure to do so may result in separation from federal service. QualificationsBASIC REQUIREMENT
Applicants must have IT-related education and experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below at a proficiency level equivalent to the next lower grade level in federal service. GS-13 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting 2 of 3 of the following: Participating or contributing to the planning, design, development, and implementation of cybersecurity requirements for IT systems and networks, ensuring adherence to established security frameworks and objectives. Managing individual cybersecurity projects or served as a key point of contact for internal or external collaborations related to cyber threat intelligence and incident response activities. Conducted in-depth reviews and assessments of IT systems to identify security vulnerabilities.GS-14 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Conducting in-depth reviews and assessments of IT systems to ensure application of security principles and compliance with federal and industry cybersecurity regulations. "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
