Job Description

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is looking for an IT Enterprise Desktop Sys Admin to join the team. This role is Full-time Monday - Friday working 7am - 3:30pm and would be on call for an entire week once every 14 weeks (rotating scheduling with the team's coverage). IT Enterprise Desktop Sys Admin Job Responsibilities:
Manages the installation of Windows end-user devices and peripherals based on a standard operating procedures and policies. Identifies and resolves more complex problems with the toolset. Communicates problem-solving measures taken for inclusion into the standard operating procedures and policies so that recurring problems can be resolved. Works imaging and installation tasks from a ticket queue. Makes recommendations to senior team members and management for larger updates of procedures/standards to improve efficiency of the imaging, installation and configuration process. Ensures that basic updates of documentation of procedures/standards on the proper imaging and configuring of operating systems software are complete and accurate. Proactively identifies and implements successful preventive measures for basic issues affecting desktops, printers and WOWs.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Associate degree (or additional relevant experience in lieu of degree)
Experience :
1 year of experience in supporting a desktop environment with both basic administration and problem resolution and Microsoft Windows seven and Windows 10 and above issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
IT Desktop support experience Experience working with break/fix and customer support Microsoft office proficiency
