Role:
We are seeking an IT Intern to provide hands-on support to our IT team. This role is ideal for a student wanting to gain real-world experience in IT support, documentation, and troubleshooting. The intern will assist with day-to-day support tasks, serve as a first point of contact for IT support issues, and help with document processes and solutions. This is an in-person position , working directly with end users and the IT team. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming IT support calls and assist users with technical issues Provide technical support to staff via phone, email, or in-person Create and update IT documentation, including how‑to guides and standard operating procedures Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks (equipment setup, account access, etc.) Log, track, and update support tickets in the IT ticketing system Collaborate with IT staff on special projects and initiatives Qualifications Currently enrolled in degree related to Information Technology Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic understanding of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, and common business applications Ability to follow instructions, document work clearly, and manage multiple tasks Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and customer service skills Preferred Skills Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure cloud platform, and basic scripting Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, batch scripts, or similar) Experience in creating technical documentation or knowledge base articles Interest in pursuing a career in IT support What You'll Gain Real-world IT experience in a professional setting Mentorship from experienced IT professionals Opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects Compensation for this role is determined using a variety of factors, including experience, skills, internal equity, market benchmarks, and the cost of labor in the different geographic locations where we operate.
