some of your typical work assignments may include: Manages one or more major, multi-year IT initiives by leading, coordining, and ensuring the overall success of the program is aligned with critical agency priorities. Serves as a Program Manager, responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. This includes ghering and prioritizing requirements, defining the product vision, and creing the product stregy and roadmap. Develops and maintains stregic plans, assesses policy needs, develops policies to govern IT activities, and provides policy guidance to IT management, staff, and customers. Performs a wide range of IT management activities including stregic and capital planning, investment control, workforce planning, policy development, resource management, and informion security management. This position is telework eligible Qualificions You may qualify the GS 13 , if you fulfill the following qualificions: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the 12 grade level in the Federal service as listed below: Expert knowledge of public laws, regulions, and policies affecting Informion Technology (IT) life-cycle management, stregic planning, investment management, and performance management. Expertise in all aspects of project and program management to develop time-phased action plans, cree project controls, monitor project progression, and deliver stus reports and briefings. Comprehensive knowledge of IT procedures and techniques to resolve management problems and improve processes. Experience using, upding, and interpreting da from various DoD systems such as the Integred Business Framework, DoD Informion Technology Portfolio Repository, and Da Center Inventory Management. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through Nional Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizions (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience th transles directly to paid employment.
