IT Specialists Include:

Technical Support Provide day-to-day technical support to staff across hospice, home care, and outpatient operations. Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers. Respond to help desk tickets and prioritize issues based on urgency and impact. System Administration Assist with management of user accounts, permissions, and access across company systems. Install, configure, and maintain computers, mobile devices, and related peripherals. Maintain software updates, patches, and system upgrades. Healthcare Systems Support Support electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) systems used across service lines. Assist staff with system navigation, troubleshooting, and basic training. Coordinate with vendors and internal leadership for system improvements and issue resolution. Network & Infrastructure Help monitor and maintain network connectivity across offices and remote users. Assist with Wi-Fi, VPN access, and secure remote connections for field staff. Support backup systems and basic infrastructure maintenance. Security & Compliance Assist in maintaining HIPAA-compliant IT practices and data security protocols. Support device encryption, antivirus, and endpoint security measures. Help implement and enforce company cybersecurity policies. Technology Deployment Prepare and deploy technology for new hires, including device setup and access provisioning. Assist with onboarding and offboarding technology processes. Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses. Documentation & Process Improvement Document technical procedures and troubleshooting steps. Assist in developing IT policies and workflows that improve operational efficiency. Identify opportunities to improve systems and reduce recurring issues. Occasional travel if needed All other duties assigned.

Job Conditions:

Position is stressful in terms of meeting deadlines It is a primarily a desk job, which essentially involves sitting, standing, stooping, and walking, as well as an inordinate amount of telephone communication

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred 2+ years of IT support or systems administration experience preferred Experience supporting healthcare environments, EMR systems, or HIPAA compliance is a plus Must have criminal background check Must be willing to travel Patriot Homecare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
