IT Technical Support Specialist Speedrack Products Group - 4.0 Walker, MI Job Details Full-time From $65,000 a year 5 hours ago Qualifications Customer service Windows DNS Manual handling vSphere Full Job Description Job Summary The IT Technical Support Specialist will provide hands-on technical assistance to end users while supporting our expanding network infrastructure. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting Windows 10/11 systems, configuring workstations and laptops, onboarding new employees, and ensuring the smooth operation of desktop applications, network printers, and cabling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, excellent customer service skills, and the capability to work independently. Some in-state travel is required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide desktop OS system support for Windows 10/11
- Preconfigure end user laptops and workstations
- Onboard new employees
- Support desktop applications
- Install/troubleshoot network printers
- Network cable troubleshooting skills
- Interact with vendor technical support
- Good customer relationship skills
- Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Some in-state travel required
- Regular, reliable attendance at the worksite for the duration of scheduled shifts, including mandatory overtime. Qualifications Education and Experience
- Degree or certifications or experience shall be considered
- 3-5 years' experience as a technical support specialist Skills and Abilities
- Microsoft Active Directory
DNS/DHCP
- VmWare vSphere
- Omnissa Horizon
- Microsoft M365 suite
- Microsoft Administration Portal
- Ninja RMM
- Barracuda ESS
- Cisco Meraki Certifications or Licenses
- Any certifications/licenses - required or preferred Working Conditions This position primarily operates in a professional office setting. This role may occasionally travel for business purposes.
Physical Requirements:
o Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk or hear o Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally o Ability to operate office equipmentWork Schedule:
o The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with occasional evening or weekend work as needed to meet deadlines or attend events. Work schedules may vary based on position/department. oTravel:
