Italian Ice & Gelato Truck & Catering Team Member Join our vibrant team at Repicci's Italian Ice & Gelato of New Haven as an Italian Ice & Gelato Truck & Catering Team Member . In this role, you'll help deliver refreshing treats, friendly service, and memorable experiences at catering jobs, private events, festivals, and community gatherings. This is a fun, fast-paced position that combines food service, customer service, event setup, and sales. You'll help serve Italian ice and gelato from our truck, maintain a clean and organized work area, assist with catering events, and make sure every customer leaves with a smile. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, being part of a team, and working in a lively event-based environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of Italian ice and gelato flavors Provide friendly, professional customer service Take customer orders and handle payments accurately Assist with setup and breakdown for catering jobs and events Keep the truck, equipment, and serving areas clean and organized Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Restock supplies and help monitor product freshness Assist with loading and unloading supplies before and after events Represent Repicci's in a positive and professional manner Help create a fun and welcoming experience for guests Experience Previous food service, café, quick service, or restaurant experience is a plus Barista experience is a plus Cash handling or cashier experience is helpful Catering, event, or customer service experience is beneficial Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and time management skills Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible Must be comfortable working evenings and weekends as needed Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift/carry light supplies Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
