MSAD 54 is seeking an energetic, student-centered Elementary Physical Education Teacher to join our team at Mill Stream Elementary School. The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging instruction that promotes: Skill development in movement, coordination, and fitness Positive sportsmanship and teamwork Goal setting and personal growth Understanding of health, wellness, and lifelong physical activity Inclusive and Adaptive Programming A key component of this role is ensuring equitable access to physical education for all students. The Elementary Physical Education Teacher will: Plan and implement adaptive physical education (APE) programming for students with diverse learning and physical needs Collaborate with special education staff, therapists, and classroom teachers to support individualized student goals Modify activities and environments to ensure all students can safely and meaningfully participate Support inclusive practices that promote confidence, independence, and success for every learner A Collaborative School Community MSAD 54 values a collaborative approach to student success.
