Overview:

To ensure all items are prepared and stored to specifications.

Essential Functions:

Maintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department guidelines Ensure station is set for service 15 minutes prior to service. Display basic knife skills Required to learn all menu items produced by assigned station. Refrigeration and serving of cold food. Production of orders

Tools and Equipment:

Cooking utensils and equipment, pots, pans, dishware, silverware, glassware, food slicing machine, knives Oven, grill/stove burners, microwave appliances, steam kettle.

Working Environment:

Interior of hotel, in all Food and Beverage areas, with exposure to humidity and extreme temperatures. Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals. Exposure to food items and beverages.

Qualifications:

Have knowledge in a wide range of cooking techniques Must have good computer skills and organization skills Must be available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
