Job Summary This is a part time job in Coden ,Al. Monday Wednesday Fridasy 6 hours each night You need to live ion Coden or in the close surrounding area. We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Janitor to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order across various commercial and residential facilities. Your proactive approach will help create a pristine environment that reflects our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. Handle custodial tasks related to industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance to support operational efficiency. Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues requiring specialized attention. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure equipment is properly stored and maintained. Support residential painting projects when needed to contribute to overall property upkeep. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing is highly desirable. Experience with general facilities maintenance or porter duties will be considered an asset. Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and safety guidelines effectively.
