Available after 90 days Job Overview We are hiring a dependable Janitor / Industrial Cleaner to support cleaning and janitorial needs at a mine site in Leadville, CO. This position is responsible for keeping assigned areas clean, organized, stocked, and safe throughout the night shift. This is an industrial work environment, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working around a mine-site setting, following safety rules, wearing required PPE, and staying consistent with daily cleaning responsibilities. Responsibilities Clean and maintain assigned areas throughout the mine site Clean offices, restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, wipe down surfaces, and remove trash Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and cleaning materials Clean spills and help maintain safe walkways and work areas Follow all site safety rules, company procedures, and PPE requirements Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply needs to the supervisor Safely handle cleaning supplies and chemicals Maintain a professional attitude while working around employees, contractors, and site personnel Assist with other basic cleaning or labor-related duties as needed Qualifications Previous janitorial, custodial, industrial cleaning, or general labor experience preferred Mine-site, construction, warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial experience is a plus Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Must be available Monday-Friday from 4:00 PM-12:00 AM Must be able to attend 1 day of paid mandatory training in Rifle, CO Must be willing to complete MSHA training, which will be provided Must be comfortable working in an active industrial environment Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and site rules Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift Must be able to work in Leadville-area weather and mine-site conditions Must be able to wear required PPE Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and takes pride in doing the job right.
