Janitor

Janitor/Part Time - 5pm-9pm Job Description Performs general cleaning in office, warehouse and other building interiors to maintain a clean, orderly, and functional condition.

Essential Functions:

Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms/breakrooms/kitchen areas/ using established practices and procedures; follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies Clean, dust and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors, empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; refill restrooms and breakrooms/lunchrooms paper towel dispensers Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools, buffers, mops, squeegees, vacuum for cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc. Clean windows as required Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

High School diploma or GED equivalent, preferred. One year of relevant experience, preferred.

Other Required Skills and Abilities:

Managing one's own time and the time of others to ensure efficiency. Willingness to perform work accurately and thoroughly. High attention to detail.

Employee must be able to:

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

To perform the essential functions of the role, employees must be able to perform the following activities with or without reasonable accommodations: Regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. Frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions:
