Janitor/Cleaner

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks across our facilities, ensuring that all areas are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained. Your proactive approach and dedication will contribute to a positive experience for employees, visitors, and clients alike. Duties Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to maintain a spotless appearance through floor care techniques such as buffing and stripping Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with safety guidelines Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times Conduct industrial cleaning tasks including deep cleaning of carpets, upholstery, or specialized surfaces as needed Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, fixtures, and other surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks when required, including minor repairs or reporting issues promptly Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, stripping, and industrial cleaning methods Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, scrubbers, and steam cleaners Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety protocols Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods and operating cleaning machinery Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently Join us in creating a clean and inviting environment where everyone feels comfortable!
